Summary

BrewBox does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or package information. Everything stays on your Mac.

What BrewBox reads

BrewBox reads your locally installed packages, shell configuration files, and PATH environment in order to display inventory, detect conflicts, and run CVE scans. This data is never transmitted to BrewBox servers.

Outbound network requests

OSV.dev — Package names and versions are sent to OSV.dev to retrieve CVE data. No personal identifiers are included.
Gumroad / LemonSqueezy — Your license key and a machine identifier are sent to validate your purchase. This is governed by each provider's privacy policy.
Sparkle (appcast.xml) — BrewBox checks brewbox.org/appcast.xml for software updates. No personal data is sent.

No analytics or telemetry

BrewBox does not include any analytics SDK, crash reporter, or usage tracking. We have no visibility into how you use the app.

License Agreement (EULA)

One Pro license permits use on up to 5 personal Mac computers. Redistribution or sublicensing is not permitted. A 14-day refund is available if the app does not work as described or has a critical unresolvable bug.

The 5-day free trial grants full access to all Pro features. No payment information is required to start a trial.
